Prim Conic

Conical progressive-load accelerated-movement eccentric-work pulley.

The main characteristic of the PRIM Conic, due to its cone shape, is that movement is accelerated with progressive load. The cable, as it runs along the cone, decreases its radius and increases its resistance until it reaches the end.

The nature of the load is inertial, which means that the force values will vary depending on the force applied to the implement by the subject. This greatly reduces the risk of injury as we always work on the subject’s individual strength percentages.

A wide variety of exercises can be performed with the possibility of working all muscle groups with a single device by adapting any implement at the end of the cable. This machine also has a very wide load range. The load increase is worked by acting on the radius of the free cone with a roller cable and modifying the moment of inertia with 4 weights integrated into the disc.

The more radius there is, the less the load and the less radius there is, the more the load. This regulation is made through a longitudinal rail along the cone. Adjustment of the moment of inertia is carried out through the weights integrated into the disc, with a possibility of using three positions:

  • No weights.
  • 2 weights increasing the moment of inertia by 20%.
  • 4 weights increasing the moment of inertia by 40%.
